Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG)
They are measured in tons of CO2 equivalent. This includes all direct and indirect emissions associated with tourism operations, such as transportation and energy. Standard emission factors are used to convert fuel and electricity consumption into GHG emissions.
Energy use
It is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh) for electricity and in liters or cubic meters (m³) for fuels. Energy meters are used to monitor total consumption, as well as by energy type, and energy efficiency is calculated by comparing consumption with reference standards.
Water consumption

Waste
It is measured in kilograms (kg) or tons. Total waste generated is classified by type and the method of disposal (recycling, composting, landfill, etc.) is recorded.
Use of plastics
Measured in kg or units. An inventory of the use of plastics in operations is made and sustainable alternatives are identified.
